After a long and successful career in the music industry, Liz changed the course of her professional life after studying yoga and meditation at various centres around the world, which sparked an interest in anatomy, physiology and complementary health care.
Liz went on to receive a 1st Class honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 - and has since earned diplomas in Naturopathic Medicine, Stress-related Mindfulness and Chinese Medicine.
A Message From Liz...
“I am passionate about helping people find their way back to a happy, healthy, pain-free life. Over the past fifteen years of treating patients, I have found that this requires a balance between the structural, emotional and chemical aspects of a person. In order to help patients achieve this, I've studied continuously to gain expertise in a variety of therapies including Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Naturopathy and Mindfulness.
This gives me a therapeutic toolkit to use with patients depending on their individual situation. For example, a patient may be suffering from chronic back pain and sees no connection to the IBS symptoms and low levels of energy they've been experiencing. By working holistically, the underlying cause of these symptoms can be treated, with a combination of osteopathy, acupuncture and nutritional advice for the patient to regain their health and vitality. The majority of hands-on therapies have the same underlying aim, which is to create the right environment and restore balance, so the patient can regain the necessary energies for the body to heal itself."
